A group of teachers passionate about ensuring high quality English provision for all children in Plymouth. We have a variety of expertise across age ranges and specialist subject knowledge within English. We are proud to represent a wide range of Primary Schools across Plymouth.

Our aims …

Our aim is to support teachers in becoming skilled practitioners who are confident in delivering the English curriculum. We aim to provide a platform through which teachers can share, improve and develop their knowledge and teaching. Ultimately, we strive to ensure that all children in Plymouth have access to high quality English provision.

What we do …

We provide a range of CPD for both teachers and support staff including: grammar subject knowledge, phonics – new to phonics and developing phonics, achieving age related expectations in writing, using Oracy to support English and early reading. We also provide school to school support where required and have a range of practitioners to draw on to tailor support to schools’ needs.
