Achieving Expected Standards in Maths in Year 6

Event Description:  What can we learn from the 2018-19 KS2 maths SATs in order to help us further develop our end of key stage outcomes in 2020?

This session will be aimed at Maths Subject Leads and Year 6 Teachers and will provide delegates with a range of high-quality practical ideas, strategies and resources that they will be able to immediately utilise and implement in their classrooms. The KS2 session will review the 2019 Arithmetic and Reasoning papers, consider the findings from these and how to plan for further developing your pupils’ outcomes within these in 2020.

Aims/Objectives: Provide teachers with a range of high quality practical ideas, strategies and resources for how to best support your 6 children in “Achieving Age Related Expectations” and “Greater Depth” at the end of the Key Stage.

Outcomes: Further improve outcomes for Key Stage 2 maths.
