Health & Wellbeing in Education – Open Hub Meeting

This year we are focusing on the theme of Healthy Relationships. This important area of focus touches almost every aspect of school provision however with recent developments, including:

• the ‘Ofsted Review of Sexual Abuse in Schools and Settings’
• the introduction of statutory ‘Relationships Education, Sex and Relationships Education (and Health Education)
• the Plymouth ‘Together for Childhood’ (T4C) programme/partnership
• and the work of the Plymouth ‘Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) commission

For this next meeting we will be joined by colleagues from the NSPCC, T4C and ‘The Zone, to talk about their programmes, opportunities for schools and provide this terms CPD.

It will be a packed Agenda and February’s meeting will include:

• Young People’s Knowledge, Attitudes and Behaviour Survey Insights
• A Launch of the Together for Childhood Portal
• A Review of NSPCC School Resources (Primary and Secondary)
• A Review of Insights and Summary of the ‘FOCUS’ programme
• A review of Healthy Relationships Resources, Including Misogyny & Other Current Issues
• Other City Updates and Opportunities
