Course description:

This an introductory course in developing the teaching of phonics and early reading skills. There will be a brief description of each of the phonic phases and will include the key points alongside potential barriers. A sample session will be included to show practice and use of consistent terminology. Mention will be made to expectations for early reading within the OFSTED framework
