Oracy 2.0

 

This 3 session programme is an opportunity to further explore the dialogic classroom and embed talk across the school for the deeper exploration of learning.  

Session 1 – Dialogic talk: whole school implementation  

Session 2 – Use of enquiry questions to develop collective, reciprocal, and cumulative dialogue  

Session 3 – Case studies and examples of good practice 

Objectives:

To provide Oracy Leaders/Teachers with the skills and knowledge to: 

  • Implement effective change across the school. 
  • Embed dialogic talk to impact learning outcomes. 
  • Promote quality talk across the curriculum. 
  • Develop questioning to promote inquiry and reasoning. 

Dates:

Session 1 – Tuesday 8 November 2022  

Session 2 – Thursday 12 January 2023  

Session 3 – Tuesday 7 March 2023
