Join PTSA for an international conference, which will explore opportunities within International Schools Award, Connecting Classrooms and Erasmus +. There will also be practical workshops to develop the international dimension within the school curriculum and explore how you can develop successful partnerships with schools abroad.
John Rolfe MBE (British Council) will provide a key note which addresses the importance of International Education in the current primary and secondary curricula, as well as sharing current opportunities for international development in partnership with the British Council
There will be a number of workshops available on the day including:
- Erasmus+ Key Action 1 and 2 – Funding and Project Opportunities for Schools (including Ocean Schools, Plastic Free and Mayflower 400 projects).
- Erasmus + – examples of successful project working and ideas for developing the international curriculum.
- Connecting Classrooms and Erasmus+ – Practical projects in secondary school.
- Practical Ideas and Lessons for Developing Internationalism into a knowledge rich curriculum.
- International School Award – What is it and support for making an application.
- The Plymouth Ghana Link – developing and promoting links abroad
