Phase 1: Getting pupils Talking

Phase 2: Developing the Quality of Talk  

Module 4 – Planning for whole school impact (2 hours)

Module 5 – Effective Vocabulary Instruction (2 hours self-study)  

Closing the word gap  

The explicit teaching of vocabulary/breadth/depth of vocabulary  

The 3 tiers framework

Phase 3: Deepening and embedding the quality of interaction

Training Objectives:

To equip leaders and teachers with the skills and knowledge to:

  • Create a whole school implementation plan.

PTSA have produced workbooks to accompany each module. These can be printed for you and delivered to your school at an additional cost depending on how many you would require. 

A minimum of 3 delegates from each school to partake in the Launch & Dissemination event (implementation team).
