Who we are….

Amy Ranjbar, teacher at Manadon Vale Primary School and Claire Hardisty, Headteacher at Thornbury Primary School.

Our Aims….

To ensure the History curriculum is being taught well in all of our schools.

To provide a supportive environment to share any concerns.

To seek out CPD opportunities.

To share good practice.

To build a shared resource bank.

To share and develop our knowledge, leading to a positive impact on our pupil’s learning.

What we do…

We run hub meetings three times a year, each meeting having a particular focus, and an opportunity to make suggestions for subsequent meetings.

We have organised a walking tour of the Barbican and hard hat visits to the Elizabethan House.  We will be creating close links between The Box and schools.

Our hub meetings provide a friendly space for professionals to meet and discuss relevant issues and we always have biscuits!

Come along to our meetings, these are open to all, not only History leads!
