PROFILE: Matthew Campbell
MY BACKGROUND
After Graduating from Plymouth University with a degree in Education Studies, I successfully completed my PGCE in 2014. I have since worked in two schools in Plymouth teaching in both EYFS and Year 1.
I have been fortunate enough to develop and further my professional development through PTSA. I believe that there is always scope for improvement in myself and others. I am passionate about providing the best learning opportunities for all children and working with others to achieve this. I am continually looking to use evidence-based research to improve the practice in my own classroom and school.
I currently lead on Computing and Design Technology as well as being involved in the Maths team across the school.

MY SUCCESS STORIES
I thoroughly enjoy professional dialogue with colleagues and I have successfully led a course focusing on early reading and support for reluctant readers. I have been involved in the Schools Partnership Programme as an Improvement Champion which has allowed me to develop my skills in coaching and mentoring. I am currently undertaking a course focusing on middle leadership skills and have thoroughly enjoyed challenging my own expectations and practices.
