Event Description

An opportunity for teachers to learn more about how Buckland Abbey can complement the teaching of the curriculum at both KS3 and GCSE.

  • Opportunity to work in partnership with the National Trust at Buckland Abbey to learn what is on offer and develop resources  that will be valuable both in and out of the classroom
  • A tour of the facilities; presentation by the Schools Co-coordinator Natalie Walters and opportunities for questions

Aims/Objectives/Outcomes

  • To improve knowledge and teaching of Elizabethan England at GCSE in particular
  • To create learning opportunities outside of the classroom
