Teaching Racial Equality – the art of Chris Ofili
Outline: Again, addressing recommendations from the 2025 CAR, this practical session will provide ideas and information teachers can adapt to plan learning based on British artist Chris Ofili’s 1998 painting No Woman, No Cry, developing skills in Art & Design and providing opportunities for students to explore themes around racism, and develop positive attitudes towards diversity and equality.
