Three twilight sessions to review ‘best practice’ in teaching and learning through the scientific evidence base to enhance achievement for all children.  We will aim to cover some persistent myths in educational practice in school and highlight those evidence based approaches which are strongly supported by scientific evidence. We will lean on the seminal work of Professor John  Hattie as outline in Visible Learning (2009), as well as the fields of cognitive psychology and neuroscience.
