Welcome to the PSHE Hub

Who we are…

The Health, Wellbeing and Citizenship Education Hub is facilitated by senior and specialist education advisers within the Local Authority.

Our aims are to…

  • Establish the needs of staff that are involved in the planning and delivery of Health, Wellbeing and Citizenship education; including: SMSC ethos; PSHE; statutory relationships, sex and health education (RSHE); emotional literacy and wellbeing; active citizenship; modern British values, including pupil voice and engagement in the democratic process.
  • Provide a space for staff to share best practice and peer to peer support at three themed open hub meetings per year.
  • Provide specialist led guidance, support and INSET around all aspects of Health, Wellbeing and Citizenship Education.

What we do…

To support schools and settings in their planning and development, the Health, Wellbeing and Citizenship Education Hub is in the process of providing a series of targeted open Hub meetings.

How to get involved…

The open hub is available to staff that are involved in the planning and/or delivery of Health, Wellbeing and Citizenship education.
