Best Practice for School Swimming

As part of the DFE PE funded project for Plymouth, Devon and Torbay, PTSA are able of offer free access to any interested delegates to the four below workshops. All of the workshops will run from 4:00pm – 5:30pm which will include a Q&A session and will be delivered by a partnership of Swim England, afPE and the Royal Lifesaving Society. All recordings will be provided after the events which I can share with interested schools if you are unable to access the live events.

• 25^th February – Guidance for Schools and teachers on best practice for school swimming lessons
• 4^th March – How Swimming links with other national curriculum outcomes
• 11^th March – Overcoming challenges in accessing swimming due to Covid 19
• 18^th March – Supporting SEND pupils in accessing swimming lessons

Time: 4.00pm – 5.30pm
