EMA Hub – Inclusive Learning for EAL children in Early Years
Outline: As school communities become more diverse, teachers in EY have a key responsibility in ensuring that children who start school with English as an Additional Language are supported in getting off to a good start, in learning environments that are respectful of cultural difference and through learning that meets each unique child’s needs and aspirations. Based on models of best practice, this is essential training for all those working with EAL children in Early Years (and in year 1).
