Teaching Racial Equality in EY/KS1 Through Storytelling

Outline: This inspiring session proved so popular last year that we are offering another chance for teachers in EY/KS1 to enjoy it. Developed in collaboration with EY/KS1 teachers, and working with the Schools Library Service, this CPD looks at how we can use story books as a starting point to teach young children positive attitudes towards cultural diversity and equality. With lots of creative, practical ideas to share this session tackles the problem of how to positively challenge racist incidents amongst young children.
