Description:

Delegates have the opportunity to work alongside tutor Sarah Cook (KS1 and KS2 Moderation Manager for Somerset LA) to explore ways to ensure children are achieving ARE at KS1 .

Session outline:

Delegates will explore the National Curriculum requirements as well as the Teacher Assessment Framework for English at each of the key stages. Delegates will look at ways to ensure evidence of all objectives is clear and to consider ways to document evidence. Alongside this, delegates will look at some teaching activities and ideas to support the teaching of the NC English objectives.
