A guided day in the woods full of outdoor ideas, activities and cooking to take back and use in your school grounds, no woodland required!

Outline of day:

• Arrive at FaB, teas, coffees introduction
• Into woods: fire lighting, shelters, craft activities, Forest School
• Introduction and links with Outdoor Learning opportunities.
• Lunch by ‘Britannia at the Beach’
• Afternoon back in woods: more outdoor ideas/experiences for you to take back into your school plus Archery session

Andrea and Pete Moore have over 50 years Primary Teaching experience between them. Andrea still teaches
in local schools and Pete delivers Forest School locally. Term time they deliver to over 300 children weekly.
They created FaB in 2013 and within 5 years became SW Regional then National Winners, Best Outdoor
Recreation and Outdoor Pursuits Provider at the Rural Business Awards.

Aim of day:

Andrea and Pete will guide you through the day so you experience as much as possible and take away plenty of ideas for
working and playing with children outdoors. They have great experience of delivering Forest School and outdoor learning in a variety of school
grounds. They are hoping to ignite a passion within you to take more children outdoors and possibly inspire you to consider your own Forest
School training.
The day has been designed so you are able enjoy the environment and take part in various activities with time allowed for discussions around
the campfire answering questions about how you can make the best of your school grounds delivering outdoor learning opportunities for your
children. The location is in the FaB woodland Forest School overlooking Start Bay near Beesands beach.

 Cost: £130 Includes tea, coffee, biscuits, hot choc, marshmallows and Fish and Chips lunch by Britannia at The Beach (vegan/veg options)
