Session 1  1:00 – 1:55 Progression in Mapping

  • What does mapping look like from EYFS to Year 6?
  • How can we develop and contextualise this within the classroom?
  • What resources do we need?

Session 2 2:00 – 2:55 Progression in fieldwork

  • What might fieldwork look like from EYFS to Year 6?
  • How might we develop purposeful fieldwork using our school and immediate local area?
  • Which contexts, resources and techniques might work best?

Session 3 3:05 – 4:00 Sustainable thinking

  • What is a carbon footprint and why does it matter?
  • What’s it got to do with us and our everyday lives? (Energy, food, transport ect)
  • What can we do to reduce our carbon footprint and how does this link to the curriculum?
