Geography Professional Community Meeting – Autumn Term 2021
Meet and greet, get to know new Geography leads across the city. Discuss needs/wants of the hub. Discuss knowledge organisers/schemas. Leaders to bring in progression docs to share and discuss/support others. Share topic/theme titles and discuss ideas around fieldwork following previous CPD.
Agenda:
- Meet/greet – can people put their names/schools so we know who is with which school please.
- Discuss needs and wants of the hub.
- Discuss knowledge organisers for Geography and how they are used in different schools.
- Discuss retrieval schemas, quizzes and what different schools use to ensure sticky learning.
- Discuss progression documents and how they are used – please can people who are willing to share, email copies to mandi.ingram@highviewprimaryschool.org.uk ASAP so we can include them in our discussions.
- Share topic/theme titles and discuss ideas around fieldwork following previous CPD.
- Confirm future CPD organised for the rest of this academic year and hub strategic/open dates.
