NASEN Session 2 – Early Years: Early identification and child-centred practice.
PTSA is excited to offer 6 online sessions from the National Association for Special Educational Needs (NASEN) in order to support the teaching of SEN pupils within the primary classroom.
NASEN is the leading organisation in the United Kingdom which aims to promote the education, training, advancement and development of all those with special and additional support needs. They are providing 6 bespoke online sessions to increase teacher knowledge of different aspects of SEND and how these may affect a child’s learning. Teachers will also gain practical advice on how they can support these pupils to achieve their full potential in the primary classroom.
Session 2: Tuesday 25th November 2025 – 3.45pm – 5.00pm
Early Years: Early identification and child-centred practice. This session will highlight the critical importance of the Early Years and early identification in supporting children with additional needs, focusing on recognising areas of need and underlying barriers to development. The session aims to equip practitioners with practical, child-centred strategies, build confidence in inclusive practice and provide supportive tools and resources.
